Community Needs Assessment
Based on the 2016-2021 Lexington-Fayette Community Health Assessment & Improvement Plan, Clark Regional Medical Center (CRMC) has identified the top three cardiac health risk factors in our community are:
- Obesity/access to healthy foods/physical inactivity
- Smoking
- Diabetes and Hypertension
CRMC will utilize the community health needs assessment to identify priority education needs of our community. CRMC will provide educational material and screenings at scheduled events throughout the year to have an impact on these community risk factors. Education at community events to include, preventable and modifiable risk factors that will contribute to the community developing diabetes and hypertension, smoking and obesity/access to healthy foods and physical inactivity.
