About Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC)
Our mission of Making Communities Healthier can only be accomplished by providing services that engage patients and families in their health care. One of the ways we do this is by bringing current and former patients and families together as a Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC), which our hospital works with to help guide how we deliver care in the community.
Our PFAC meets 4-6 times per year as a group to discuss the hospital’s services. The patient or family member’s role is to share their perspective and experience. No particular knowledge or training is necessary—just your own ideas and suggestions. The meetings are schedule months in advance and take place at the hospital, typically at lunchtime for about an hour. Most people participate on the PFAC for one or two years.
If you are a current or former patient, or the immediate family of a current or former patient, we’d like to hear from you. If you’re interested in participating in a PFAC, please send us an email at ClarkPFAC@lpnt.net and we’ll get in touch.
